The Thunder Apex features a Bafang 500W rear hub motor delivering up to 80 Nm of advertised torque. This provides capable assistance for daily transportation, longer rides and uphill stretches.
Unlike a basic cadence-only system, the torque sensor measures your pedalling effort and adjusts motor assistance accordingly. Pedal gently for controlled support or apply more effort when you want additional assistance.
Actual climbing performance and acceleration depend on terrain, rider weight, battery charge and riding conditions.
Samsung-Cell Battery — Up to 1,440Wh
The standard Thunder Apex battery uses Samsung lithium-ion cells and provides 48V 15Ah, or 720Wh of energy capacity.
For riders who want extended battery capacity, the optional dual-battery configuration combines two 48V 15Ah batteries for 48V 30Ah and 1,440Wh total capacity.

Tektro hydraulic disc brakes provide responsive lever control and controlled stopping performance when properly adjusted and maintained.
Front and rear 180 mm rotors offer braking capability for everyday commuting and recreational riding. Regular brake-pad inspection, rotor checks and maintenance remain essential.
Built-In GPS Tracking with eBikeLink
Stay connected to your Thunder Apex through the integrated GPS tracking system and eBikeLink app.
Access supported bicycle location information and ride-recording features through the app.
No monthly subscription fee is required for Thunder's included GPS tracking service.
The GPS system draws power from the bicycle's main battery. Tracking requires sufficient power and connectivity, and location updates may be affected by coverage and operating conditions.
GPS tracking is an additional security aid and does not guarantee theft prevention or successful recovery.

Heavy-gauge 12G spokes contribute to sturdy wheel construction, while full front and rear fenders add practical protection from road spray.
Always secure cargo properly and observe the bicycle's overall load limits. The rear rack should not be used to carry passengers unless an approved passenger system and manufacturer load rating expressly permit it.
