Appointments & Service Process

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended for faster turnaround. Walk-ins are welcome when space is available. If you have an electrical issue (no power, error codes, battery problems), an appointment helps us diagnose faster.

How long does an e-bike service take?

A basic safety check or quick adjustment is often completed the same day. Diagnostics and repairs depend on the issue and parts availability. We’ll explain the expected timeline after inspection.

What should I bring for electrical diagnostics?

Bring your e-bike and charger. If you see an error code or message, take a photo and show it to the technician. If the bike has a key for the battery, bring that too.

Do you offer pick-up and delivery?

Yes — pick-up and delivery may be available depending on location and scheduling. Contact us to confirm availability and pricing.

Brands We Service (Important)

Do you service all e-bike brands?

We service most non-proprietary e-bike systems, especially hub-motor e-bikes and many online/direct-to-consumer brands. If you’re unsure, contact us with your bike brand, motor type, and photos — we’ll advise quickly.

Do you service Rad Power Bikes in Vancouver?

Yes. We provide independent service support for Rad Power Bikes owners, including brake service, tire/tube repairs, wheel work, drivetrain service, and many common electrical diagnostics.

Do you service e-bikes purchased online (Amazon / eBay)?

Yes. We service many online and direct-to-consumer e-bikes. Parts availability can vary by model, but we can often diagnose the issue and recommend the best repair path.

Do you service Bosch, Yamaha, Shimano Steps, Brose, or other dealer-locked systems?

No. We do not service manufacturer-locked systems such as Bosch, Yamaha, Shimano Steps, Brose, or other dealer-only platforms. These systems typically require authorized dealer tools and manufacturer access.

Important note: Servicing a brand does not imply ownership, affiliation, or official authorization unless explicitly stated by the manufacturer. Our focus is on keeping riders safe and their e-bikes operating properly.

Common E-Bike Repairs & Diagnostics in Vancouver

My e-bike won’t turn on — can you diagnose it?

Yes. Common causes include battery connection issues, fuse/protection cutoffs, wiring faults, display/controller problems, or sensor issues. We can perform professional diagnostics and advise on the safest repair option.

Do you do brake repairs and upgrades?

Yes. We handle brake adjustments, pad/rotor replacement, hydraulic bleeding, and braking performance checks. If your bike is heavy or used in hills/rain, we can recommend upgrades for stronger stopping power.

Do you repair flats and replace tires/tubes?

Yes. We repair flats, install new tubes/tires, and can recommend tread patterns for Vancouver rain and mixed riding.

Do you repair wheels and spokes?

Yes. We provide wheel truing, spoke replacement, tension balancing, and hub inspection.

Do you do tune-ups?

Yes — tune-ups typically include safety checks, braking performance check, drivetrain adjustment, torque checks, and general inspection. Exact scope depends on your bike type and symptoms.

Batteries & Charging

Can you test my battery health?

Yes. We can check battery connections and basic health indicators and help determine whether range loss is normal wear, cold-weather impact, or a deeper issue.

My battery range dropped — is that normal?

Some range loss is normal over time and in cold weather. Tire pressure, riding style, cargo weight, and terrain also affect range. If the drop is sudden, bring it in for inspection.

Can you replace my battery?

In many cases, yes — depending on the system and compatibility. Bring your battery, charger, and any model labels so we can confirm options.
